Local Description

This book tells the story of Sudan, the last male Northern White Rhinoceros; who the author and illustrator visited in Kenya in 2016.

The story tells of 3 broken horns: the first one when Sudan's mother was attacked by poachers; the second broken on the wooden fence of a Czech zoo. With no need to fight or dig grass roots, it re-grew, and was broken again when Sudan returned to Africa. The people in the nature reserve sawed off Sudan's horn, in order to prevent poachers from killing Sudan.
