Sam and Julia visit Grandpa Zeeman in the harbour. There is plenty to discover and do there, because it is port week! During the port week, boats from distant regions come to deliver the harvest. To celebrate this, a real boat race is organized in the harbor! Uncle Jan (who can do anything) teaches Sam and Julia how to build their own boat from old bottles and planks.

The boat seems to float well but unfortunately something goes wrong during the race! Fortunately, Julia never gives up and Sam has a smart solution for every problem. But whether the race can still be won...
